7. To prepare the syrup:
In a saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the sugar in water while stirring.
8.Once it starts boiling, add the lemon juice and let it simmer for 8-10 minutes.
9.Add the rose water and orange blossom water, then remove from heat.

Pour the hot syrup evenly over the hot cake. Allow it to cool completely before cutting and serving.
